Sure there was a bit of humor in it when looking for a date. going on a date, how to look on a date and how to act on a date. Which brings me to people taking on safety measures when it comes to dating. Recently, I viwed a television show in which it discussed the dangers of dating. More people should know about it if you don't already. If it has been spoken on, then it can't be stressed enough. Don't except and offer for your date to buy you a drink. If you do, go to the bar with him. Always watch your drink or take it with you when you have to excuse yourself. Talk just about anything else other than your job, family and sex. Ignore strong advances made toward you. Never give out your personal information. (i.e. home address, job location) get his number instead. Get away quickly if the advances toward you get completely out of hand and make you feel uncomfortable. This is not for those who go out on dates together; it is also for those who go out alone and you are approached by someone. There are many ways to avoid the dangerous situations of dating. These are just a few. The main factor is if you are invited to go back to his place or follow him to his car (or her car) take precaution and DO NOT do it. Women or men can be dressed appropriately, but still have an agenda. You can still have fun dating, and still play it safe. If you are out with the girls; and guys if you are out with the fellows, always have a buddy system going if you are not sure about your surroundings. The buddy system can truly save your life and protect your mind, body and spirit. For comments and questions please email me at bludiamond@enterto.com
